In this week’s episode of CarpQuest we fish an overnight session at Chatfield Reservoir. With daytime temps pushing 100F, the bite slow, this could be our best chance to get some carp on the mat and drink the victory coffee! It was a tough nights fishing for sure; I lost the first fish of the evening right before dusk. As we fished through the darkness James certainly had the spot and the carp on the feed; landing 4 good fish whilst I only managed a couple of small channel cats. As the first light of day crept over the mountains I was rewarded with a nice common carp, followed by another a few hours later. Overall a good nights fishing.
