In this week’s episode of CarpQuest we only had time for a very short afternoon session. Aided by a Deeper Smart Sonar Plus we quickly found the fish. The next four hours were incredible, with a dozen carp landed, by both James and I, including four twenties, five mirror carp and a new PB mirror carp for both of us. What a session !

My first carp on Nashbait’s TG Active cultured hook baits with EagleClaw’s Trokar Magnum curved shank #6 hooks.

We only noticed near end of session our weigh sling was touching the ground, on the tripod, meaning the majority of the fish we caught this session likely weighed a lot more – that’s fishing !
