CarpQuest – S2E7 – Chatfield Carp Fishing – FXR Winner GiveAway Winner – Ron Altman

At the end of December 2013 FishExplorer.COM had their “Winter GiveAway”. Members were able to use their acquired points for the year and bid on items as a “prize”. The goal is to reward members for their support over the year and give them the chance and opportunity to win something for themselves.

I was asked if I would participate and volunteer a “prize”. I offered a “Day of Carp Fishing, with CarpQuest” in the 2014 season.

Early in January I was given the name of the winner of my “prize’, this was Ron “Alty” Altman. I contacted Ron and over the next few months we waited for the weather to warm up before I could take him out and help him get his first ever carp, on the bank and into his hands!

This video highlights how we went on a “Quest for Carp” for Ron, survived a horrendous thunderstorm and finally were able to get him his first ever carp!
